Quotables for Bluesky ("we", "our", or "us") is a Chrome extension that allows users to quickly share quotes from webpages to the Bluesky platform. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through this Privacy Policy.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Quotables for Bluesky operates locally in your browser. The extension only interacts with the content you highlight and the Bluesky API for posting quotes. No data is sent to our servers because we don’t have any servers. Quotables for Bluesky values user privacy and uses the minimum permissions for the functionality it provides. It does not collect user data or track user activities. It complies with all policies of the Chrome Web Store upon which it is published.
We do not have access to or use any personal information. Any quote you choose to post is shared directly through your Bluesky account, using your credentials via the app password you provide. This password is stored only in your browser's local storage and is never transmitted to us.
As no data is collected or transmitted to our servers, your data stays on your device. We encourage users to keep their devices and browsers secure and to never share their app passwords.
